The Jean Price Bursary for Young Cricketers

The Jean Price Bursary for Young Cricketers

Jean Price was for most of her life committed to Worcestershire County Cricket Club (WCCC) and its future. She started work at WCCC when she was sixteen years old in 1948 and when she died in October 2010, she had just completed 7 years as Co-ordinator of the Ladies Pavilion Teas at WCCC. In between those years she served WCCC in the administrative office at various times and was a lifelong Member of the club. It was felt appropriate to use a gift given to WCCC by her daughter to establish a bursary for young cricketers, male and female Under the age of 18.
