Helen Grayer

Head of Operations

Helen brings over two decades of operational expertise to Worcestershire County Cricket Club, having launched her career in 2001 with Worcester Warriors. Starting as a Hospitality Coordinator, Helen quickly transitioned to facilities and operations, where her natural talents in logistics and venue management became apparent.

During her time with the Warriors, she oversaw key infrastructural expansions, including stands and pitch developments, contributing significantly to the club’s elevation from the Championship. In 2017, she joined Gloucester Rugby as Operations Manager, where she adeptly managed matchdays, hospitality, and concerts for crowds up to 20,000. Helen’s resilience and adaptability were especially crucial as she assumed the role of COVID Manager during lockdown, implementing stringent protocols to maintain safety and compliance without spectators.

Joining Worcestershire County Cricket Club as Facilities Manager in November 2021, Helen now heads Operations, supervising a wide range of teams, from Front of House, Catering, and Grounds to Maintenance, Cleaning, and matchday Security. Her primary focus remains on delivering a premier experience for all patrons, prioritizing excellence in cleanliness, service, and governance compliance to enhance every aspect of matchdays and events.

Beyond her professional role, Helen is an avid supporter of Welsh Rugby, often found singing alongside her son and partner at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, sparking a friendly rivalry with England fans, a tradition she cherishes as part of her love for the game.
