the 2020 edition of the ever popular worcestershire supporters’ association calendar is now on sale.
it might be nearly four months still to christmas but the forthcoming specsavers county championship matches with glamorgan and gloucestershire at New Road offer the chance to purchase the ideal present.
the 2019 edition quickly sold out – as has been the case in previous years – and there has already been a healthy response from county supporters looking to snap up an early festive gift.
andrew thomas, author of ‘pears 150’, has again provided the bulk of the varied photographs which make up the 12 months and reflect life at the county’s headquarters.
january provides a picture of the vitality blast trophy which the rapids won in such impressive style 12 months ago.
it is one of three photographs highlighting that memorable t20 triumph.
the new marquee – funded largely by the supporters’ association – the new scoreboard, the graeme hick pavilion, an aerial picture of the ground and the different seasons are reflected in andrew’s photographs.
the 2020 calendar is again priced £7.50 and can be purchased from the supporters’ association club shop on match days.
in addition the calendar can also be purchased via association committee member dave kennedy.
