Spectator Guide: Herefordshire vs Worcestershire at Eastnor CC

Herefordshire CCC are looking forward to welcoming supporters of both counties (and neutrals!) to Eastnor CC for Sunday’s 50-over match showcasing National Counties cricket at the lovely Eastnor CC.

Encouragingly, demand for free tickets has exceeded expectations and Herefordshire are nearing capacity for advance ticket sales. If you plan on attending the game, spectators can claim their free ticket in advance by clicking here.

Whilst Herefordshire will make every effort to accommodate all spectators who have not pre-booked, or find they are unable to once we are at capacity, Herefordshire reserve the right to restrict entry on health and safety grounds. Hopefully, that will not be necessary, however, preference for walk-in entry will be given to paid up members of Worcestershire and Herefordshire on presentation of proof of membership.

In the place of entry or parking fees, Herefordshire are encouraging spectators to donate to their charity partner, Acorns Children’s Hospice.

To donate, spectators can either drop cash in the collection buckets on entry to Eastnor or donate by card on one of the contactless machines at the bar in the pavilion throughout the day. All proceeds will be split equally between Herefordshire Cricket and Acorns.

Younger members of the family (and some older ones!) will no doubt have spottedthe ICE CREAM VAN as soon they park up.

Teas, coffees and soft drinks are available in the pavilion, and alcoholic drinks can be ordered and paid for at the hatch at the end of the pavilion.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, we have some great raffle prizes including a case or two of Westons Cider, a selection of Wye Valley Brewery beers, £100 in Fearnley Cricket gift vouchers, a signed Worcestershire CCC D’Oliveira shirt, two tickets to a Royal London Cup fixture, a central Hereford car parking voucher, and Eastnor Castle gift vouchers.

The raffle will be drawn at around 3pm (assuming no rain or other delays) in the pavilion area, so make sure you come over at that time to check if you’ve won.

Herefordshire Cricket will be running informal and fun cricket practice for All Stars and Dynamos from age 5-11 in the top field

If the children (or parents!) get restless and want a change of scenery, Eastnor Castle is holding Pottery classes. The main Castle entrance is over the road from the cricket ground.
