brewster, 21, has played for unicorns, glamorgan seconds and cardiff mccu while harvey, aged 22, had previous spells with durham seconds and northumberland.
the seconds have won two of their 10 games in the short format and can climb off the bottom of the table with a successful time against the tykes.
they will then switch to championship mode against the tykes at harrogate from tuesday to thursday.
