Worcestershire Seconds will take a break from Second Eleven Trophy action and will do battle with Gloucestershire in a four-day friendly at Clifton College starting tomorrow.
The Seconds are in contention to reach the semi-finals of the 50 over competition with one game to play.
But they will revert back to red ball mode in Bristol.
Professionals Ollie Westbury, Josh Dell, Brett D’Oliveira, Alex Milton, Adam Finch and Pat Brown are part of the squad.
Academy players Xavie Clarke, Jacques Banton, Zain Ul-Hassan and Josh Dickenson are also included plus triallist Brinder Phagura.
This now annual fixture between the two counties has been played at Cheltenham in recent years.
But it has been switched this year because Gloucestershire need to play an additional match at the College this week – against Lancashire – as their Bristol headquarters are one of the ICC World Cup venues.
Ryan D’Oliveira is Lead Coach for this game with play getting underway at 12 noon on the opening day and 11am the remainder of the week.
