Worcestershire Seconds ended their 2016 Championship programme by securing a hard fought draw with Warwickshire Seconds in the day-night clash under the Edgbaston floodlights.
The home side set a 274 target on the final day of the fixture in which a pink ball was used and Worcestershire closed on 157-5 from 33 overs.
Openers Tom Kohler-Cadmore (27) and Ollie Westbury (23) put on 54 in eight overs before four wickets fell in the space of six overs for 20 runs – three of them to Mitchell Spencer.
But then a stand of 66 between Alexei Kervezee and keeper Alex Milton ensured that the game ended with honours even.
Kervezee was eventually dismissed for 43 for the second time in the match but Milton remained unbeaten on 35 from 65 balls with five fours at the close.
The Seconds ended the Championship campaign with three victories in the competition compared to one in 2015.
Warwickshire Seconds had resumed on 17-1 at the start of the second day and paceman Chris Russell quickly removed Andy Umeed (7) and nightwatchman Josh Poysden (15).
Matt Lamb (127 not out) and Liam Banks (75) then set up the declaration with a stand of 135 in 36 overs.
Lamb, who struck six sixes and 11 fours in his 171 ball knock, also added 95 with Ateeq Javid (29).
