Worcestershire Seconds have named a 12 strong squad for the three-day Second Eleven Championship match with MCC Young Cricketers starting tomorrow (Tuesday) at Chester Road, Kidderminster (11am start).
All-rounder Gareth Andrew will again skipper the side – a role he has taken on since Joe Leach has won a regular spot in the senior side.
Paceman Chris Russell, the county's leading wicket-taker in the NatWest T20 Blast with 16 victims, is included in the squad.
Opener Matt Pardoe and all-rounder Ross Whiteley, who both played in the opening nine LV County Championship matches of the campaign, are also named.
Whiteley scored his first century for the county in last week's Second Eleven Trophy clash with Yorkshire.
Worcestershire will be looking to bounce back from the innings defeat by Yorkshire in the Second Eleven Championship at York.
The Worcestershire squad is: Pardoe, Clarke, Whiteley, D'Oliveira, Barnard, Andrew, Hepburn, Rhodes, Russell, Harrison, Cessford, Whiles.
*The two sides will also meet at Bromsgrove Cricket Club on Friday in a Second Eleven Trophy clash (11am).
