Worcestershire Seconds will look to step up their challenge to reach the knockout stages of the SET20 competition when they take on Glamorgan at Newport CC this afternoon (1pm start).
The Seconds are currently lying in the third spot in the six-team Central Group with two wins – against Derbyshire and Northamptonshire – two defeats and one abandoned fixture in their opening five games.
The winners of the three groups automatically qualify for finals day at Arundel, but the best-placed runners-up also go through.
Batting duo Tom Fell and Gareth Roderick, who played in the LV=Insurance County Championship match against Durham at New Road, are included.
Keeper Alex Milton will be looking to continue his excellent form with the bat after scoring 77 versus Warwickshire and 49 against Northamptonshire in his last two knocks in the competition.
He is currently the fourth-highest run-scorer in the competition, with 165 closely followed by Riki Wessels (150), joint seventh.
