Worcestershire Seconds fate in the Second Eleven Trophy will depend on the outcome of Monday's clash with Lancashire Seconds at Neston.
Yorkshire Seconds edged above them into the second qualifying spot as a result of yesterday's abandoned clash with Durham Seconds at Brandon.
But Worcestershire wil move back into the top two if they secure one point from the meeting with the Red Rose County in their final group encounter.
Victory would see them top the group and guarantee a home semi-final on June 2.
But a tie or a wash-out would mean them finishing second – and ahead of Yorkshire because they have won four games to the the Tykes three.
Coach Kevin Sharp's side have won four of their opening five games.
They defeated Warwickshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and MCC Young Cricketers before being beaten by Durham.
