Worcestershire duo George Scrimshaw and Josh Dell are flying out to Dubai today (Saturday) to start a two-and-a-half week training camp with England's Young Lions.
Paceman Scrimshaw and batsman Dell are part of a 17-strong squad which will be led by head coach Andy Hurry.
The Young Lions are set to play a trio of one-day matches against UAE X1s before flying home on December 21.
But all those selected are also eligible for the England Under-19s tour of India in January and February when they will take part in two four-day and three one-day games against India Under-19s.
Academy member Dell was part of the England Under-19 side which took part in two Tests and three ODIs versus Sri Lanka Under-19s last summer.
Scrimshaw, who this summer signed his first professional contract with Worcestershire, was selected for the second Under-19 Test at Northampton but had to pull out because of injury.
The County duo have already been part of two training camps this winter at the National Performance Centre in Loughborough.
The Young Lions were formerly known as the England Development Programme and introduce the most talented young players to international cricket through the England Under-19s.
Scrimshaw and Dell will be reunited with New Road club mate Joe Clarke who is part of the England Lions squad in the UAE.
