Sarah Johns, HR Manager Worcestershire County Cricket Club
Sarah brings 20 years of HR experience to Worcestershire County Cricket Club, joining after 12 years as HR Officer at Malvern College. In 2022, she earned her CIPD Level 5 qualification in HR Management.
At the Club, Sarah has led significant initiatives, including securing the Worcestershire Works Well accreditation for the Club’s focus on staff wellbeing. In July 2024, under her leadership, the Club was recognised as a Leading Inclusive Worcestershire Employer by the County Council. As a Disability Confident Committed Employer, the Club has made substantial progress in creating an environment where every employee feels valued and supported.
Sarah is committed to continuing the Club’s development as one of Worcestershire’s most inclusive employers. She believes that by promoting equality and respect, the Club not only enhances the experiences of its staff and visitors but also sets a benchmark for inclusivity within the wider community.
Having lived in both China and Hungary, Sarah developed a strong appreciation for different cultures. She moved to Worcester in 2010, where she now lives with her husband and daughter.
Sarah is passionate about ensuring that the Club remains a special place to work, as expressed by its staff. She is enthusiastic about partnerships, such as the one with Pluxee, which bring added benefits to employees, and she looks forward to aligning with other businesses that can further support and enhance the well-being of the Club’s team.
