Bowling coach Matt Mason has revealed the impact already made by Pakistan spinner Saeed Ajmal – on and off the pitch with Worcestershire.
Ajmal marked his first appearance of his second stint at New Road by claiming four wickets for 60 runs against Derbyshire in the LV County Championship.
But the 36-year-old is also having an influence on his county team-mates away from the action.
Mason said: "Saeed is really terrific. It's not just his bowling either, it's what he does for the lads.
"Already he has held an audience with the guys in the dressing room talking cricket and the guys learnt a lot from him.
"That on top of the fact he is one of the best bowlers in the world means he is a great acquisition.
"Having someone like Saeed come in with all his experience is terrific for the guys."
Ajmal is available for potentially nine County Championship and 11 NatWest T20 Blast matchesin his second spell with the club.
