Worcestershire keeper-batter Gareth Roderick continued his excellent run of form for Green Point by top-scoring in the Western Province Premier Division encounter with UWC.
Green Point skipper Roderick followed up his centuries in successive innings against Milnerton and Cape Town by hitting 63 off 78 deliveries.
He went to the wicket at 13-1 and added 84 for the fourth wicket with Luke Holland (55 not out).
Roderick, who struck one six and four fours, was fourth out at 133 but his dismissal was followed by a collapse.
The last seven wickets fell for 36 runs as Green Point were bowled out for 169 in 41.3 overs.
UWC were 77-3 at one stage but eventually triumphed by six wickets with 7.1 overs to spare.
Ed Pollock made an unbeaten 14 from 17 balls in his first innings of the winter to see St. George over the finishing line on day two and a seven wicket success against Campbelltown Camden.
Pollock batted at number five and hit two boundaries as St. George overhauled Campbelltown’s first day total of 151 all out in the New South Wales Premier Cricket first grade encounter.
Harry Darley was part of the Umlverstone side who romped to a 10 wicket win overt Wynyard Tigers in a Cricket North West first grade fixture.
Darley, still unable to bowl as he recovers from injury, saw his side bowl out the Tigers for 83 and was not required to bat as Ulverstone reached their modest target in 11.2 overs.
Henry Cullen’s side, Woodville, were edged out by three wickets on day two of the South Australian Cricket Association meeting with Southern District.
Southern District were 120-6 at one stage in pursuit of Woodville’s first day 205 all out and Cullen held onto a catch to break a seventh wicket stand of 63.
But Woodville were unable to make anymore breakthroughs and their opponents reached 208-7 in 82.5 overs.
