George Rhodes made important contributions with ball and bat as North Canberra Gungahlin batted out the final day to deny home side Western District outright victory in the ACT Premier Cricket Douglas Cup encounter.
The Worcestershire all-rounder ended with four wickets to take his tally for the campaign to 12 in six matches.
Rhodes resumed with figures of 3-50 from 12 overs and added one more scalp to end with 4-68 from 15 overs.
It was the second time Rhodes had taken four wickets in an innings after his 4-53 against Weston Creek Molonglo.
Western District, who resumed on 167-3 in reply to North Canberra's 164 all out, extended their first innings to 298-9 from 56 overs before declaring 134 ahead.
Rhodes then made a solid 42 with the bat in his accustomed opening role when the Northies set about trying to save the game.
They eventually closed the day on 230-6 from 61 overs – a lead of 96.
