Worcestershire Rapids Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes has named an unchanged squad for this evening's NatWest T20 Blast encounter with Nottinghamshire Outlaws at New Road (5.30pm start).
Rhodes has kept faith with the 12 players who were on duty in last week's impressive eight wicket win over Birmingham Bears – the 11 who played in the game plus all-rounder Gareth Andrew.
The Rapids have won six successive matches in the T20 Blast – the club's best ever sequence of victories in the competition – to head the North Group.
It was a sequence which started with a 24 run win over the Outlaws at Trent Bridge – a game described beforehand as "the toughest in the group" by skipper Daryl Mitchell.
That success is in addition to being in the top two of Division Two of the LV County Championship.
But Rhodes is aware of the importance of not getting carrried away with performances and results to date with the season still barely at the half-way mark.
He said: "We've just got a little bit more depth now and the younger players have just matured a little bit and the senior players have also matured a little bit.
"It means we are improving so it's good things at the moment.
"I'm getting carried away but I'm trying to make sure our team don't get carried away. We've got to keep our feet firmly on the ground. We've won nothing yet.
"If we are going win things, we need to keep it going all season long so we'll try and keep the confidence high but feet firmly on the ground."
