Worcestershire Rapids suffered a quadruple injury setback before and during the Vitality Blast encounter with Yorkshire Vikings at Visit Worcestershire New Road.
Key batters Kashif Ali (side strain) and Adam Hose (groin) were ruled out before the game plus pace bowler Nathan Smith (hamstring) from the triumph over Birmingham Bears on Friday.
But the situation got worse when in form all-rounder Matthew Waite (side strain) and spinner Hayden Walsh (quad) had to leave the field during the game and were unable to complete their allocated overs.
The four of them have joined Joe Leach (knee), Adam Finch (knee), Ben Gibbon (back) and Yadvinder Singh (back) in being struck down by injury.
Head Coach Alan Richardson said: “It’s the side with Matthew and Kashif, Hayden has done his quad and Hosey his groin.
“The ones who got injured today, it is too early to say how long they will be out.
“Nathan has injured his hamstring. He will get a scan tomorrow and that will be weeks (out) I would have thought.
“Finchy has done his knee and we will be out for weeks.
“We’ve had a few injuries but we will see what lies ahead for us on Thursday (against Derbyshire).”
