Worcestershire Rapids Vitality Blast captain, Moeen Ali, struck the highest individual score in the 2022 Abu Dhabi T10 League in an devastating display of hitting.
The all-rounder made an unbeaten 77 off just 23 balls with NINE sixes to help Northern Warriors to a 10 wicket win over Team Abu Dhabi.
He finished with an astonishing strike rate of 334.78.
Moeen and Kennar Lewis (65 not out) enabled the Warriors to chase down a demanding 146 total with five balls to spare.
A half century for Moeen was completed from 16 deliveries with the second of three successive sixes off Warwickshire spinner, Danny Briggs.
An attack also containing Fidel Edwards, Liam Livingstone and Marchant de Lange were unable to stem the flow of runs.
Moeen now has the third highest tally of runs in the tournament with 223 at a strike rate of 216.50.
But his splendid efforts have not been enough to enable the Warriors to reach the knockout stages.
Moeen will be back in action today (Monday) when the Warriors take on Chennai Braves.
