Radlett Named As Venue For Seconds Trophy Semi-Final

Worcestershire Seconds Trophy semi-final with Middlesex Seconds will be played at Radlett Cricket Club next Friday (June 15).

Coach Alex Gidmanโ€™s side reached the last four after finishing second in the North Group with four wins from six games.

The Countyโ€™s first Trophy semi-final appearance for 14 years was sealed via wins over Warwickshire, Derbyshire, MCC Young Cricketers and Nottinghamshire.

Middlesex qualified by topping the South Group with a 100 per cent record.

They made it six wins out of six via victory over Sussex thanks a hundred from Max Holden and a five wicket haul from Tim Murtagh.

Their other victories were over Kent, the Unicorns, Gloucestershire, Essex, and Surrey.

The winners of next Fridayโ€™s tie will go through to the final on Thursday June 21 which will be staged at the headquarters of one of the two finalists.
