Pat Brown’s stunning performances on finals day ensured he finished well clear as the leading wicket-taker in the 2018 Vitality Blast.
The Worcestershire Rapids paceman ended with a memorable return of 31 wickets from 16 matches.
Brown maintained a stunning level of consistency throughout the entire competition, picking up two or more wickets in a game on 13 occasions.
The City of Worcester University student earned praise from team-mates, opposition players and commentators for his efforts.
His 4-21 in the semi-final win over Lancashire Lightning was also his career best performance in the short format of the game.
The 20-year-old was only two wickets short of the all-time record of 33 wickets in 19 games by Somerset’s Alfonso Thomas in 2010.
Brown ended six wickets ahead of Lancashire spinner Matt Parkinson.
