Worcestershire County Cricket Club is delighted to announce Wodr and Utility Stream (USL) as the new naming rights partners for its popular 22Yard Bar & Café. The venue, located at the heart of Visit Worcestershire New Road, will now be known as Wodr 22Yard Bar & Café, further strengthening the club’s long-standing partnership with the Warwickshire-based utilities consultancy.
Now entering their sixth season of collaboration with Worcestershire CCC, Wodr—specialists in water solutions—and USL, their energy consultancy arm, have continually supported the club’s commercial and sustainability ambitions. This latest agreement marks yet another step forward in a growing relationship that has delivered meaningful initiatives over the years.
The rebranded Wodr 22Yard Bar & Café will continue to serve as a vibrant social space for members, supporters, and visitors, with sustainability-focused elements incorporated in line with Wodr’s commitment to responsible water management and environmental awareness.
Commenting on the announcement, Naveed Qayyum, Managing Director of Wodr, said: “Partnering with Worcestershire County Cricket Club to bring Wodr 22Yard Bar & Café to life is an exciting next step for us.
As a company committed to innovation and sustainability, we see this as a fantastic opportunity to engage with the Worcestershire community and champion environmentally responsible water solutions within the club’s facilities.
“We look forward to making this a welcoming space for all.”
The collaboration between Wodr, USL, and Worcestershire CCC extends beyond branding, with plans for joint initiatives to promote water efficiency, energy responsibility, and resource conservation throughout the venue and wider club operations.
Joe Tromans, Commercial Director at Worcestershire County Cricket Club, added: “Wodr and USL have been fantastic supporters of the club for six seasons now, and we are thrilled to take our partnership to the next level with the renaming of the 22Yard Bar & Café.
“Wodr’s expertise in sustainable water solutions, alongside USL’s knowledge of energy consultancy, aligns perfectly with our long-term vision to enhance our facilities in an environmentally responsible way.
“This is another step forward in ensuring that Worcestershire CCC continues to offer a first-class experience for all visitors.”
