Non-Executive Director – Role Description
The Club is looking to welcome an additional Non-Executive Director to its Board, which is made up of the Chair, Chief Executive Officer, and a number of Non-Executive Directors representing a broad range of professional expertise.
Following a review of the Board’s current skills matrix, the Club is particularly interested in candidates with experience in Commercial, Marketing, or Property and Real Estate.
The successful candidate will be an established leader within their field. While an interest in cricket or sport more generally would be beneficial, it is not essential.
The Board meets approximately eight times per year, with meetings typically lasting around two hours.
There is also one full Board strategy day per year, usually in the Spring. In addition to these scheduled meetings, the role may involve providing ad hoc advice and support to the Board and Executive as relevant matters arise.
In line with our values and the ECB County Governance Framework, we particularly welcome applications that enhance gender and ethnic diversity, supporting our ongoing development in this area.
