Worcestershire County Cricket Club is delighted to confirm that existing partners NBB Waldrons will be extending and broadening their partnership at New Road.
Formerly known as ‘Waldrons’, an exciting recent company-wide rebrand will see the multi-disciplinary legal solicitors now appear as ‘NBB Waldrons’.
Founded just two years after the Club in 1867, NBB Waldrons have strengthened ties with Worcestershire, agreeing to become front-of-shirt sponsors on the 2026 Worcestershire Academy playing tops.
Into their second year of what has been a prosperous affiliation with Worcestershire, NBB Waldrons took centre stage during 2025 after hosting the inaugural “Black Country Street Sixes” event at the Black Country Living Museum last June.
In a one-of-a-kind corporate cricket tournament, the evening saw 15 local businesses trade suits for sportswear, taking part in a six-a-side style cricket competition that captured the essence of the proud partnership.
After celebrating such success at the event last summer, NBB Waldrons are set to play host to Street Sixes again later this year, in a busy summer that has also seen the company secure their position as official match sponsors for Worcestershire Rapids Vitality T20 Blast home fixture against Kent Spitfires, in July.
Worcestershire CRO Joe Tromans said the extension of the partnership epitomises the Club’s aims to strengthen ties with committed partners.
“The extension of our partnership with NBB Waldrons is something we are very proud to have secured, especially at such an exciting time for the team after their recent rebrand.
“Even as a traditional, local and community-based firm, the organisation has an extremely aspirational vision, which aligns with the ambitions and forward-thinking mentality of everyone here at New Road.
“We often speak about the significance of partnerships being a two-way relationship, and last year’s inaugural Street Sixes exhibition was a perfect example of how an activation can widen the reach for greater opportunities and exposure within that partnership, with the firm now proudly sponsoring our 2026 Pathway shirts.”
Joseph Norton, Managing Partner, said the company was delighted to be broadening its affiliation with the Club after a successful first year of the partnership.
“We are very proud of our prestigious heritage, and the fact that our values align so closely with Worcestershire makes this partnership unique.
“The close-knit nature of the partnership made our first year with the Club so beneficial that as soon as an opportunity to enhance our relationship arose, we were keen to take the opportunity.
“Although we are a local, Worcester and Black Country business, we are driven by the motivation to grow and continue our multi-dimensional approach to business, which was a leading factor in why we made the decision to sponsor this year’s Pathway playing shirts.
“Everyone at NBB Waldrons is thrilled to extend our partnership at such an exciting time.”
