Worcestershire CCC are delighted to further cement their partnership with MB Insolvency who are sponsoring the County’s four-day shirt for the 2017 campaign.
It is a partnership that is paying dividends with Worcestershire winning their opening four matches in the Specsavers County Championship and being the only side in the country with a 100% record in the competition.
MB Insolvency have a flourishing relationship with Worcestershire CCC stretching back over many years in either sponsoring or supporting the club in some capacity.
This is the second year in succession that MB Insolvency have been a shirt sponsor at New Road.
Company owner Mark Bowen has supported Worcestershire for more than three decades since the glory years of the Ian Botham era during the 1980s.
MB Insolvency further demonstrated their support for Worcestershire by being joint sponsors of the 2016 end of season awards dinner evening held in the Chestnut Marquee.
Now the MB Insolvency brand will be proudly worn by new skipper Joe Leach, new overseas star John Hastings and all the players when in Specsavers County Championship action across 14 matches this summer.
MB Insolvency are a company which have recently moved into new premises at 11 Roman Way Business Centre, Berry Hill, Droitwich, Worcestershire WR9 9AJ
Mark Bowen said: “”We’ve moved into better. premises. With what we do, and it is a daunting prospect for people going through an insolvency process, we decided that we should invest to keep as much in house as possible and maintain a level of privacy.”
But alongside that Mark Bowen revealed that MB Insolvency have gone ‘virtual’ via the technology in place at their new headquarters.
Insolvency meetings are being held generally by on line conference which is a huge change from the way things have been done previously.
Mark Bowen said: “We are getting messages out to people as to how that actually works and there is a link on our website explaining more.”
Mark formed MB Insolvency nine years ago and believes the personal interaction he has with clients is vital to its future.
He explained: “I started the business in 2008 at a time when everyone was finding it quite stressful financially after the crash.
“That was a coincidence. I have been in insolvency all of my life – straight out of Droitwich High School and into insolvency. It is a challenging and interesting arena.
“It has been positive so far as I have been able to draw on all of the experience gained in other practices over the years, I know the way we do it is more personal and clients deal with me.”
Mark is also delighted to be renewing the partnership with Worcestershire CCC.
He said: “The involvement with the club has grown from a simple advert in the programme, to an advertising board on the ground, to the shirt collar last year and now the four-day shirt this year.
“The relationship works. I get on well with Jon Graham (Worcestershire CCC Managing Director) and he always goes out of his way to support us.”
Jon Graham said: “Mark has been incredibly generous and very supportive over many years now. He was one of the first people that I met after coming here during the Australia game in 2013.
“It ended up with Mark taking an advertising board at the ground straight away.
“Mark has got an amazing business, has links nationwide, his business is growing, and I’m really happy and thankful that he has renewed with us and is going to be a shirt sponsor on the Championship shirt.
“It is testament to Mark that, even though his business is massively growing and he has invested a lot of money into it that he has continued the partnership with us.
“I hope we continue for many years to come. He is a massive supporter of all our events. He will be at the chairman’s lunch and end of season awards night.
“He is always at the club and always saying really good things about us so personally I’m over the moon that he is back on board.”
