The bill for the Concert of Legends on Spetember 9 just gets bigger and bigger – and better and better!
The 11 hour extravaganza at New Road already had an unbelievable bill with Billy Ocean, Paul Carrack, The Boomtown Rats with Sir Bob Geldof, Ray Lewis’ Drifters and Odyssey.
But now also added are The Legends of 90s Dance in N-Trance and Livin’ Joy.
Electronic music group N-Trance were formed in 1991 by Kevin O’Toole and Dale Longworth and over the next decade they enjoyed 10 Top 30 hits.
‘Set You Free’ and ‘Stayin’ Alive’ both reached number two in the charts while a 2001 version of ‘Set You Free’ also made the top 10.
Other hits included ‘Turn Up The Power’, ‘Electronic Pleasure’, ‘DISCO’, ‘The Mind Of The Machine’, ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy’, ‘Paradise City’ and ‘Forever’.
Italian Eurodance Group Livin’ Joy clocked up five top 20 hits in the UK in the mid 1990s – ‘Dreamer’, ‘Don’t Stop Movin”, ‘Follow The Rules’, ‘Where Can I Find Love’ and ‘Deep In You.’
The concert gets underway at 12 noon and continues through to 11pm.
It promises to be another day to remember after last year’s extravaganza which was head-lined by UB40 and Lulu.
Early Bird adult tickets are priced £40, Early Bird junior tickets £10 and a Family Ticket – for two adults and two juniors – costs £80.
All tickets – plus hospitality packages – can be booked via the link on the Worcestershire CCC website.
