Moeen Ali top-scored for England with a quickfire 71 in a 169 run win against Hong Kong at the Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi in a warm-up match for the ODI series against Pakistan.
The Worcestershire all-rounder reverted to batting at number seven after opening in the three Test series against Pakistan in the UAE.
The 28-year-old faced just 36 balls and smashed five sixes and six fours.
He came to the wicket at 207-5 and was seventh out with the total on 322 as England reached 342-8 in their 50 overs.
Moeen shared in stands of 56 with Jos Buttler (38) and dominated a partnership of 59 with Chris Woakes.
Alex Hales (64), Jason Roy (42) and Joe Root (38) were the other main contributors in England's only practice match before the face Pakistan in four ODIs.
Moeen bowled six overs for 27 runs as Hong Kong were bowled out for 173 in 40.2 overs.
The opening match of the series will take place in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
