Worcestershire CCC trio Moeen Ali, Pat Brown and Ross Whiteley are geared up for the ‘Super League’ phase of the T10 League in Abu Dhabi as the bid to reach the knockout stages hots up.
The points from the initial group stages are carried over and the positions of the teams determine who they will play in their three ‘Super League’ fixtures.
Moeen is skippering Team Abu Dhabi and they will face Bangla Tigers later today, Deccan Gladiators tomorrow (November 20) and Brown and Whiteley’s team, Karnataka Tuskers, on November 22.
Brown and Whiteley will take on Maratha Arabians tomorrow and Qalandars on November 21 before the meeting with Moeen’s side.
The top two in the ‘Super League’ will meet in a Qualifier on November 23 with the winners going through to the final on the following day.
The third and fourth placed teams will meet in Eliminator One and the winners of that encounter will meet the losers of the Qualifier in Eliminator Two to decide who will claim the other place in the final.
Only two points separate first from bottom in the eight-team competition at the start of the ‘Super League’.
