Moeen Ali is occupying a top 20 spot in the Reliance ICC Test Championship rankings after an impressive start to his England career.
The Worcestershire player is placed 18th in the all-rounder rankings after his promising performances with bat and ball in his seven Test matches to date – against Sri Lanka (two) and India (five).
He is 33rd in the bowling lists after taking 22 wickets at an average of 28.09 runs apiece and 90th in the batting charts after scoring 286 runs at an average of 31.77.
In One-Day Internationals Moeen is 50th in the ICC all-rounder rankings, 83rd in batting and 102nd in bowling.
His 12 ODIs to date have realised 421 runs at an average of 35.08 with one hundred and three fifties.
Moeen has also picked up 10 wickets at an average of 43.40 and an economy rate of 4.98 runs per over.
Meanwhile, Moeen and his England colleagues will warm up for the Tri Nations Series Down Under with hosts Australia and India by playing two matches at the Manuka Oval in Canberra.
They will first of all take on the Australian Capital Territory Xl this Sunday (January 11) and then face the Prime Minister's X1 at the same venue on January 14.
England will do battle with Australia in the opening Tri Nations clash – a day-nighter in Sydney on January 16.
