Moeen Ali had a series to remember with the ball for England in the Investec Test Series with India which ended at the weekend.
The Worcestershire all-rounder was labelled a "part-time spinner" at the beginning of the summer before the two game series with Sri Lanka and understandably took time to adjust to bowling in Test cricket.
But Moeen ended the five match against India with an impressive haul of 19 wickets.
That included crucial contributions during the second innings in the victories at the Ageas Bowl and Emirates Old Trafford.
Only Jimmy Anderson of the England bowlers finished with more wickets (25) as Moeen ended level with Stuart Broad – and with exactly the same average of 23.00 runs per wicket.
He also had the second best strike rate of the main bowlers – behind Chris Jordan – of a wicket every 39 deliveries.
On the batting front Moeen, who had scored a century against Sri Lanka, ended with 124 runs at an average of 20.66 batting at number six with a highest score of 39.
