Moeen Ali was dismissed for 11 on the final day of the third Ashes Test in Perth as England suffered an innings defeat.
The Worcestershire all-rounder made 11 off 56 balls before he was trapped lbw by spinner Nathan Lyon.
It was the fifth time in six innings that Worcestershire 2017 overseas player Lyon had claimed the scalp of Moeen in the series.
Moeen came to the wicket at 133-5 after the early loss of Jonny Bairstow and drove Josh Hazlewood down the ground for an early boundary.
In the same over the 30-year-old nicked through to Steve Smith who dived forward to claim the catch at second slip.
But replays proved inconclusive as to whether the ball had carried.
Moeen collected a second boundary through extra cover off Pat Cummins and added 39 in 15 overs with Dawid Malan.
But Lyon eventually brought about his downfall with a delivery which pitched just outside off stump and slid on.
England were bowled out for 218 to go 3-0 down in the series.
