Moeen Facing Hectic Schedule During Next 15 Months With England

Moeen Facing Hectic Schedule During Next 15 Months With England

Moeen Ali is facing the prospect of playing in up to 21 Tests, 22 ODIs and seven T20Is plus the ICC World Twenty20 tournament from now until the end of 2016 if he continues to play a key role for England in all formats.

The Worcestershire all-rounder relishes every moment of playing for his country and can look forward to a hectic programme during the next 15 months after the euphoria of lifting the Ashes and the closely fought ODI Series.

Barely two weeks after the end of that series, England will fly out tomorrow to the United Arab Emirates to contest three Tests, four ODIs and three T20s against Pakistan.

After that comes the challenge of playing in South Africa across all formats from December to February ahead of the ICC World Twenty20 in India from March-April.

The players will return after only the shortest of breaks to play a full summer including seven tests against Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

Then in October 2016 there will be a series in Bangladesh followed by five Tests in India up until the end of the year.
