Moeen Ali is riding high in the England bowling averages for the current One-Day Series against Australia with just tomorrow's decider at Emirates Old Trafford remaining.
The Worcestershire all-rounder is top of the averages for any bowler who has played in two or more matches in the best of five series.
Moeen has picked up six wickets in his four appearances with only fellow spinner Adil Rashid having taken more scalps – seven.
His best performance came in the third ODI at Old Trafford when he returned 3-32 from 10 overs – his best return in the 50 over format for his country.
Moeen followed that up with 2-40 in yesterday's triumph at Headingley which brought England level at 2-2.
On the batting front Moeen has scored 47 runs in four innings coming in down the order with his highest score yesterday's 21 not out which helped England to victory.
