Worcestershire Seconds experienced mixed fortunes in two T20 matches with Papau New Guinea at Worcester Royal Grammar School's ground at Flagge Meadow.
The Seconds romped to a seven wicket win in the opening match but were edged out by three runs in the second.
Papau New Guinea were restricted to 128-7 in Game One with Darrel Williams (3-15) the most successful bowler.
Then Alexei Kervezee and skipper Shaaiq Choudhry hurried Worcestershire to victory with a third wicket stand of 89 in nine overs.
Choudhry fell for 33 but Kervezee finished ubeaten on 68 from just 47 balls with 10 boundaries.
Game Two appeared to be heading the same way after Papau New Guinea again batted first and were restricted to 132 all out.
Spinners George Rhodes (2-17), Choudhry (2-20) and Brett D'Oliveira (2-25) were the most successful bowlers.
But the Seconds lost wickets at regular intervals in reply and were 86-7 before Alex Hepburn (36) and Williams (8) added 36.
They took the score to 122-7 but then both were dismissed in the 19th over and the innings closed on 129-9.
