magoffin has rejoined the county and is happy to address the society members in the hick pavilion on tuesday, january 9 (7.30pm start).
january is traditionally the month when a member of the county’s playing staff has been guest speaker and 12 months ago skipper joe leach and ceo tom scott shared the duties.
steve is back into full training at New Road following his switch from sussex after initially playing for worcestershire in 2008.
the australian bowler – who now has a uk passport – will be recalling his long and successful time in cricket.
he has so far taken 581 first class wickets at an average of 23.23 since making his debut for western australia in 2004.
steve’s first spell at New Road has special memories as during it he met his wife becky.
