Worcestershire Women’s Rapids will continue their West Midlands Cup campaign on Sunday when they take on Warwickshire at Stratford Upon Avon CC (11am start).
The Rapids won the opening match in the 50 over competition last month when they defeated Staffordshire by 34 runs at Halesowen CC.
It followed on from their trophy triumph in the ECB T20 County Cup Group Two tournament.
The Rapids are boosted by the return of Georgina Macey who was the second highest scorer in the entire T20 competition across all the groups.
Charis Pavely and Ellie Anderson, who have been turning in some excellent performances with bat and ball respectively, are also part of the squad.
Spinner Flora Bertwhistle will be looking for a repeat of her form against Staffordshire when she returned career best figures of 5-31.
Women’s Rapids captain, Chloe Hill, who hit 78 against Staffordshire, said: “It is great to have Georgina back and she scored runs for fun in the T20 competition.
“We have strung together a series of consistent performances throughout the summer and will be looking to extend that on Sunday.”
