Skipper Joe Leach says Worcestershire Rapids want "to show the country what we are capable of doing" in tomorrow's day-night Royal London One-Day Cup clash with Derbyshire Falcons at the 3aaa County Ground.
The Rapids will secure a home semi-final tie as North Group winners if they come out on top in the Sky Sports clash which gets underway at 2pm.
They are already guaranteed a match in the knockout stages at New Road after yesterday's win over Durham Jets ensured a top two finish.
But finishing in pole position in the group will leave the Rapids just one match away from a possible first Lord's final since 2004.
Leach said: "We are going to be at home which is obviously vital for the club. We go to Derby on Tuesday – live on Sky – and we want to show the country what we are capable of doing.
"We have played brilliant cricket so far in this competition and we want to do that on Tuesday and go straight through to that semi-final at New Road.
"That would make qualification for Lord's a hell of a lot easier."
Leach says the Rapids have potential match winners in every position with everyone playing their part at different times.
He said: "What is so good about this team at the moment is, in pressure situations, different people are standing up.
"It's not just the same people and, from one to eleven, we've got match winners and that is a great position to be in."
