Worcestershire triumphed by 65 runs against a Stourbridge CC Select X1 in a T20 match at the Memorial Ground which formed part of the club's 175th Anniversary celebrations.
Skipper Joe Leach hit a half century as Worcestershire totalled 210-8 and restricted the Select X1, containing several ex New Road players, to 145-8.
It was a good work-out for Worcestershire ahead of their NatWest T20 Blast clash against Birmingham Bears at a sold out New Road on Friday.
Worcestershire opted to bat after winning the toss and openers Daryl Mitchell (21) and Joe Clarke (46 off 24 balls) put on 71 in six overs.
Leach. who made 55 off 32 balls, and Brett D'Oliveira (23) added 72 off six overs for the third wicket.
A quickfire 20 not out from John Hastings lifted the final total past the 200 mark.
Hastings also took two wickets in reply as Leach used eight bowlers with Jack Shantry and George Rhodes returning identical figures of 1-15 from three overs.
Opener N. Karunanyake top-scored for the Stourbridge Select X1 which included Shaaiq Choudhry, Gareth Andrew, Chris Russell and Matt Pardoe who have all played in recent seasons for Worcestershire.
