Tom Kohler-Cadmore picked up a rare wicket and remained unbeaten in his first innings for Penrith Panthers in the Sydney Grade Cricket first grade match with Eastern Suburbs today.
The Worcestershire batsman bowled Suburbs wicket-keeper S. Chu for 43 and finished with figures of 1-36 from six overs.
Penrith were on the receiving end of a formidable total of 378-7 declared from 86 overs after Suburbs had elected to bat on the opening day of the two-day fixture.
Kohler-Cadmore also picked up a catch and then shared in an unbroken opening stand of 53 from eight overs with J Di Bartolo.
Bartolo dominated the strike and finished on 43 from 31 balls with Kohler-Cadmore ending on nine not out from 17 balls.
The match will be concluded next Saturday.
Alex Hepburn was on the winning side as Willetton Dragons defeated University by 46 runs in a Western Australia Cricket Association first grade clash.
Hepburn was dismissed for nought as Willetton made 194-9 from their 50 overs after electing to bat.
Hepburn then bowled five overs for 23 runs as University were bowled out for 148.
