Worcestershire captain Joe Leach and batting coach Kevin Sharp proudly showed the Specsavers County Championship Division Two trophy to supporters during the Wolves-Leeds Championship clash at Molineux.
Staunch Black and Golds fan Joe and lifelong Leeds supporter Kevin took part in several Question and Answer sessions with supporters ahead of the game in the hospitality areas.
They then went onto the pitch with the trophy at half-time and received a warm round of applause in a game which Wolves won 4-1 to extend their lead at the top of the table.
Joe, proudly wearing his Wolves scarf, said: “It was good to take the trophy and show to the supporters at the game.
“It almost felt like an extension of the memorable day in September at New Road when we received the trophy.
“We got a decent reception from fans and there was a good atmosphere at the game especially with Wolves winning 4-1.
“They are certainly playing some great stuff at the moment.
“It was good to get one over on Kev as a staunch Leeds fan and it was the first time I can recall where he didn’t speak for five minutes!”
