Job Title: Player Support Officer
Reporting to: CEO / Head Coach
Location: WCCC, New Road, Worcester, WR2 4QQ
Department: Players Area
Hours of work: Approx 40 – 50 per week
The Player Support Officer will be required to work closely with the Coaches and Players, and will need to have a thorough understanding of the processes/procedures involved.
Keep the whole of the area on the first floor of the Graeme Hick Pavilion clean and tidy. This particularly applies to the toilet and changing room areas which must be cleaned on a daily basis to the highest standards. This includes wiping down the shower walls every day and applying a suitable cleaning spray (please discuss with Stadium Manager). These areas need to be maintained to the highest standards at all times.
Make sure that both teams have sufficient clean and dry towels for match day and preparation practice sessions
Security within the Players area. This will involve opening up in the morning and locking up at night throughout the season. The area will be alarmed and the Stadium Manager will advise you on this.
It is important for you to remain in the area whenever it is being used for matches or training
Players will be responsible for getting their own drinks and food from the dining area. You will be responsible for making sure it is well stocked and kept tidy during the times when the catering staff are not in situ.
Take care of complimentary tickets for the players and coaching staff
General support for the players and coaches to enhance them in their abilities to produce and play good cricket
The priority is making sure the playing and coaching staff are well looked after, for both the home and away teams and keeping the whole of the players area clean and tidy, particularly with regards to toilets and showers.
TERM OF CONTRACT
Beginning of March to end of September 2018
Circa £11,000 payable over 7 months (To be confirmed)
