The Worcestershire Rapids are on fire and supporters of skipper Daryl Mitchell's side have been given an extra incentive to buy tickets in advance for Friday's vital NatWest T20 Blast clash with Derbyshire Falcons.
Tickets are already in hot demand for the game that will determine if the Rapids can first of all qualify for the quarter-finals and secondly secure a home tie – depending on results elsewhere.
And anyone purchasing a ticket ahead of Friday's game will get priority to buy tickets for any potential home quarter-final before they go on general sale to the public.
No-one is taking anything for granted and Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes is expecting a "tough game" against the Falcons.
But supporters could become part of history as Worcestershire have never staged a home quarter-final in the competition with their previous appearances at that stage against Surrey, Gloucestershire and Yorkshire all being away ties.
Tickets were already selling healthily for Friday's game but enquiries have increased since the superb away win over Northamptonshire Steelbacks has meant the Rapids have their destiny in their own hands in terms of qualifying if they can beat the Falcons.
Worcestershire business director Jon Graham said: "The team have been brilliant this season and we are urging everyone to come down to New Road and cheer on the lads in what is a massive game on Friday.
"There was a great atmosphere for the full-house against Birmingham Bears and the crowd can be like the 12th man on Friday if they get behind the team.
"No-one is taking anything for granted but we just want to reward supporters who turn up on Friday if we do manage to go through and get a home quarter-final.
"They will then be able to purchase tickets ahead of them going on general sale."
Don't forget anyone who has attended a previous Rapids game at New Road this season can purchase tickets for Friday's game for just £12 in advance – a saving of £5.
