Hot Tub Specialists Arctic Spas Are Worcs Ccc Main Sponsor For Third Year

Worcestershire CCC are proud to have hot tub specialists Arctic Spas as their main sponsor for a third successive year in 2016 with the Club's General Manager Jon Graham admitting: "The partnership could not have gone much better."

Arctic Spas initially came on board at New Road in 2013 as Worcestershire's T20 sponsor before signing a three year deal to be the County's Main Sponsor from 2014 onwards.

It is a link up that has been successful for both parties with Arctic Spas getting nationwide exposure via their famous polar bear logo during several televised matches – including last summer's first ever home T20 quarter-final.

However the Arctic Spas brand has also been ingrained into supporters and members with the polar bear logo on club shirts evident around New Road and throughout the city.

Their presence has also been significant at New Road during the past two seasons via hot tubs, smoke houses, purpose-built showroom, grill-house stand and platform next to the Graeme Hick Pavilion.

And this year plans are in hand to have an Arctic Spas Open Day at New Road in early July with hot tubs and other products available to purchase at significantly reduced prices.

Arctic Spas highly respected president David Martin also regularly attends matches at New Road, particularly in the T20 bracket, and he is typically enthusiastic about the future of the County on the field with their posse of young, talented players.

Worcestershire CCC General Manager Jon Graham said: "David Martin, the President of Arctic Spas, would be the first to say he wasn't the biggest cricket fan in the world when he came down to New Road for the first time.

"But since then we've done some really good things. As far as main sponsors go, I personally couldn't ask for anymore. David has been incredibly supportive, attends all the functions, and the club has gained a lot of business from people who know the Arctic Spas brand.

"We value every penny David's business puts into the club because it is vital and it is not an insignificant amount of money.

"Equally, with T20 going the way it has, the club up 25% on ticket sales, and with the television cameras, the Arctic Spas brand gets nationwide exposure and ultimately that's what we did the deal for, to try and get that brand awareness up and out there.

"I don' t think it could have gone too much better and we are looking forward this year to really pushing on and who knows what the future brings.

"David is happy with the way things are going but like any partnership, we certainly wouldn't take it for granted."

Arctic Spas President, David Martin, said: "I am very excited about the season ahead because the club have managed to keep their young exciting team, have managed to sign them all up.

"They came so close to staying up in the Championship and didn't have the luck with some fixtures affected by the weather. Small things went against the team.

"We are delighted to have this fourth year with Worcestershire – one as T20 sponsor and this year and the previous two as the Main Sponsor.

"It is a great club to work with and, being a local company for 20 plus years, it is great to put back something into the area and to be associated with a club with 150 years of tradition is great for ourselves.

"It is a really good partnership. I am happy with way it has gone the last three years."
