Worcester CC were the winners of the Worcestershire Cricket Under-Nines eight-a-side Incredi ball tournament at Himley CC.
They defeated Avoncroft in the final after both teams had topped their groups of five.
In a competition where teams lose three runs for each wicket that goes down, Worcester scored 88-3 (net 79) and then restricted Avoncroft to 30-3 (net 21) to win by 58 runs.
The final of the Under-17s T20 finals days for the Ryan Birt Trophy between Barnt Green and Ombersley was washed out and has been rescheduled for September 17 – again at Worcester Normads.
In the first semi-final, Barnt Green defeated Kidderminster and then Ombersley defeated Himley in a bowl out in the other last four match.
The Under-11s eight-a-side tournament (girls only) at Droitwich CC was also washed out.
Oldswinford-Stourbridge Social, Old Elizabethans, Barnards Green and Droitwich had been due to play each other on a league basis to decide the winners.
There are several more Worcestershire Cricket finals on the horizon in the next few days.
On Sunday (September 10) the Under-8s eight-a-side Kwik Cricket finals will take place at Avoncroft CC.
The host club, Alveley, Himley and Rushwick will play each other on a league basis to decide the winners.
On the same day at Bromgrove CC, the Under-14s 11-a-side T20 knockout final takes place on the main ground at 10am between Earlswood and either Barnards Green or Kidderminster.
At 1.15pm on the main ground the final of the Under-14s Knockout Cup will be fought out between Earlswood and Barnards Green.
Bromsgrove will also stage on their Hedges Ground on the same day the Under-12s nine-a-side T20 Knockout Cup final between Worcester CC and either Belbroughton or Beacon (10am).
This will be followed at 1.15pm on the Hedges Ground by the Under-11s nine-a-side T20 Knockout Cup final between Droitwich Spa and either Bromsgrove or Barnt Green.
A third match on the Hedges Ground will see Bromsgrove tackle Wightwick and Finchfield in the Under-10s nine-a-side T20 Knockout Cup final.
The Under-19sT20 Blast finals day is also taking place on September 10 at Kidderminster.
Stourbridge face Bromsgrove in the first semi-final (10am) and then Ombersley clash with Colwall in the second semi-final at 1.15pm with the final getting underway at 4.30pm.
