Adam Hose is gearing up for a possible 10 group matches in 21 days after linking up with Desert Vipers for the second edition of the International League T20 (ILT20) in the United Arab Emirates.
The Worcestershire batter helped Adelaide Strikers to qualify for the knockout stages of the Big Bash League on Sunday and the next day flew out from Sydney to Dubai.
He will link up with two ex Worcestershire T20 players in pace bowler Luke Wood, who helped the Rapids win the 2018 Vitality Blast, and batter Colin Munro as part of the Vipers squad.
Hose will be hoping to enable the Vipers to go one better after they finished runners-up in the inaugural competition to Gulf Giants.
He had an initial taste of the tournament last winter when he played three matches for Sharjah Warriors.
The top four will go through to the latter stages and contest two Qualifiers and an Eliminator before the final on February 17.
The Vipers will launch their campaign next Sunday (January 21) against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
A hectic group programme will end on February 11 against Sharjah Warriors at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The Sheikh Zayed Stadium is also being used as a venue.
