George Rhodes’s side Onslow Cricket Club have handed out six of the best in their sparkling start to the Ewen Chatfield Trophy in New Zealand.
The Worcestershire all-rounder has helped Onslow to win their open six matches in the 50 over competition and storm to the top of the table.
They are currently five points clear of Johnsonville and six ahead of Eastern Suburbs in the 12 team competition.
Rhodes top-scored with 83 in the weekend win over second from bottom Petone-Eastbourne CC.
County paceman Charlie Morris’s team, Tuggeranong Valley, are also impressing in the McDonald’s ACT Premier Cricket first grade competition in Australia.
Morris has been a regular member of the Tuggeranong side who are currently lying third in the table.
They have lost only one of their opening seven matches.
