Worcestershire Academy spinner, Olly Davidson, made a successful debut for Herefordshire on the opening day of their National Counties Championship Western Division One match against Cheshire at Brockhampton.
The slow left armer, who celebrates his 18th birthday on Thursday, picked up four wickets as Cheshire were bowled out for 238 in 68.1 overs after being put into bat.
Davidson came into the attack as first change for the 19th over and made a breakthrough with his second delivery in dismissing opener Henry Dobson (33).
He struck in successive overs during the middle of an initial 18 over spell.
Davidson had David Wainwright (29) caught behind by Worcestershire team-mate, Henry Cullen, and then sent back Luke Young (0).
He returned for just one more ball to polish off the innings by bowling last man, Aaron Soni (6).
The Scottish international finished with figures of 18.1-1-58-4 and his elder brother, Jasper, ended with 2-49 from 16 overs.
Herefordshire had time to reach 19-1 from three overs before bad light brought a premature end to proceedings.
Weather permitting, play will resume on Monday at 10.30am.
