Worcestershire and Sussex, who meet at New Road this week, are involved in a four team battle to retain Division One status in the LV = County Championship.
Skipper Daryl Mitchell's side are currently just four points behind their opponents after the wash-out of the final day's play at Taunton last week denied them the chance of batting bonus points.
But bottom placed Hampshire and Somerset, who both have a game in hand, are also in contention to remain amongst the elite as we enter the final four weeks of the season.
Here are the remaining fixtures and dates for the sides currently in the bottom four – with Somerset having to play Hampshire and Sussex before the end of September.
