Worcestershire CCC all-rounder Wayne Parnell was amongst the winners when Worcestershire Supporters’ Association staged their first Fifty-Fifty draw of the summer.
Parnell and his County team-mates all participate in the competition from which all profits go towards the Ground Improvement Fund.
The South African was one of eight winners after 425 people took part in the first of four draws during 2020.
The £500 first prize went to Derek Bidwell of Droitwich Spa with the draw made by County Councillor, Anthony Hopkins.
Association Chairman, Andrew Jenkins, said: “A big thank you to organiser, Dave Kennedy, for his sterling efforts in ensuring so many people still took part in the draw despite the current challenges of COVID-19.
“It also helped the club publicising via the website and social media and the Cricket Society doing the same in their newsletter and a separate email. A big thank you to them.”
The second draw will take place on Friday, July 10 and anyone wanting to take part – for a membership of £20 – should contact Dave on 07746 833894.
