Brett D'Oliveira claimed his first wicket for England Lions as they wrapped up a Tri-Series clean sweep of victories with a record-breaking 140 run win over Sri Lanka 'A' at Canterbury.
The Worcestershire all-rounder rounded off the Lions fourth win of the series by picking up the last wicket as he bowled Lahiru Gamage for one.
D'Oliveira bowled six overs for 24 runs in his first spell and returned at the climax of the game as he ended with figures of 1-37 from 8.3 overs.
The 22-year-old had also featured in the previous game of the series against Pakista 'A' at the same venue.
He scored 13 on that occasion batting down the order but did not have a chance to get to the middle yesterday.
That was due to the splendid unbroken 367 partnership for the secnd wicket between Ben Duckett and Daniel Bell-Drummond as England amassed 425-1 in their 50 overs.
The stand was the second highest ever in List A cricket and Duckett's 220 not out was the highest individual score by a Lions player.
