Adam Finch and England Young Lions are well placed to level the ‘Test’ series against Bangladesh Under-19s heading into the final day in Chittagong.
The Worcestershire paceman will be looking to make inroads with a new ball which is only 7.3 overs old.
Bangladesh will resume on 34-1 in their second innings after being set a 333 target.
The home side resumed day three on 194-6 in reply to England’s first innings total of 337 and were bowled out for 228.
Finch bowled four more overs and ended with figures of 18.4-3-61-1.
England, holding a first inning lead of 109, then made 223-8 declared with Finch not having the opportunity to bat.
He opened the bowling when Bangladesh went in for a second time and sent down four overs for 18 runs.
But Bangladesh lost a wicket from what turned out to be the final delivery of the day
